It was great to kick off Sea Asia in Singapore on 25 March with a joint ribbon-cutting opening ceremony together with our friends from Denmark and Danish Export – Marine.

The ceremony was conducted by distinguished guests from both Norway, Denmark, and Singapore, including Leif Trana – Ambassador of Norway to Singapore, Deputy Minister Even Tronstad Sagebakken, CEO of NME Erlend Prytz, Chairman of Singapore Maritime Foundation Mr. Weng Yew Hor, and CEO of Maritime Port Authority of Singapore Mr. Eng Dih Teo.

This year’s event marked the 10th edition of this globally recognized exhibition in Singapore. Held in conjunction with Singapore Maritime Week, the entire city was adorned in maritime blue colours throughout the week. The halls at Marina Bay Sands exhibition centre were bustling with activity as representatives from the maritime industry gathered to explore new innovations, network, and reinforce collaborations.

Thanks to BASSnet, Bergen Engines, Brødrene Aa, Fugro Norge, NAVTOR, Passer Marine, ShipMed, Star Information Systems and UniSea for choosing the Team Norway pavilion to showcase their expertise and cutting-edge maritime solutions.

We would like to acknowledge Ambassador Leif Trana and the team at the Norwegian Embassy, as well as Susanna Quek of Innovation Norway in Singapore, for their support.

Congratulations to Informa Markets and the Singapore Maritime Foundation for organizing another successful edition. We look forward to returning to Sea Asia in March 2027!
