Good vibes at Posidonia

Finally, we could arrange a Team Norway pavilion at Posidonia again. The atmosphere was good, and we received positive feedback from all our exhibitors.

The fair was very well attended with 1,964 exhibitors from 88 countries represented. If we include representatives from the exhibitors, media and other guests, the organizer estimates that a total of 40,000 people visited during the five days the exhibition halls were open.

Eight Norwegian companies took part in the Team Norway pavilion, while a total of 32 Norwegian companies were represented at the large trade fair with their own stands or through Greek agency companies. However, we are now working to create an even larger pavilion with more Norwegian companies participating at Posidonia in 2024.

Danish – Norwegian cooperation

We have over time established a good collaboration with the Danish Export Association, which arranges the Danish pavilions. At Posidonia we had a joint Danish-Norwegian lounge where the exhibitors in both the Norwegian and the Danish pavilion and their guests were served refreshments and snacks while they took a well-deserved break.

Quality Flag reception

At most trade fairs, we try to arrange networking events or other activities in the Norwegian pavilion. At Posidonia we were co-organizer of the Norwegian Maritime Authority’s Quality Flag Reception which was held in our lounge on Wednesday 8 June. The Norwegian Ambassador to Greece Frode Overland Andersen participated and gave a short speech emphasizing the benefits of registering vessels in the Norwegian Maritime Authority’s NIS or NOR register.

In addition, Mr. Andersen visited all the Norwegian exhibitors in the pavilion. He is very interested in the maritime industry and here he had the opportunity to get an update from each company about their products and services, and how they view the Greek market. Posidonia 2024

Thank you all that participated for great days in Athens. Team Norway will be back to spread the good vibes at Posidonia in June 2024. We can’t wait!
